I have been married to my wonderful wife Suzanne (Susie) Onderdonk for six years. Susie has 3 boys from a previous marriage and I have 2 boys from a previous marriage. Together with 5 boys, 2 dogs, and 4 cats, we're still going strong!
About Paul "Donk" Onderdonk
I’m Paul “Donk” Onderdonk—public servant, veteran, former police officer, and proud neighbor in Mobile’s District 6. I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who’s spent a lifetime answering the call to serve.
For 12 years, I wore the uniform of our nation’s military. For another 13, I served as a police officer right here in our community—walking our streets, responding to calls, and protecting the people of Mobile. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges our city faces and the potential it holds.
I’m running for City Council because I believe District 6 deserves leadership that listens, acts with integrity, and puts people over politics. I’m committed to safer neighborhoods, smarter spending, and a city government that works for everyone—not just the well-connected.
This campaign isn’t about politics. It’s about people. It’s about us.
